Some new things coming up in the next couple of weeks for you!!

There are a lot of things in the works that I am involved in!! New store, blog train fun, collab kit, new items, etc. I can tell you that you will not want to miss it!!! There will be a collab kit coming up from some designer friends. It is hosted by Shilo. She is one of the youngest designers I have met and I want to tell you, she is a wonderful person. She has decided to host a collab kit due to the fact that she is trying to raise money to go to college. I know there are a few people who have not liked this idea. But, for a young person to want that badly to go to college, I commend her on that!!! I will be posting a preview of that and where it is available when it comes out. It is only a few more days and, trust me, you won't be disappointed!!! The colors are just gorgeous and you can use this kit for a number of things. Pretty Scrappy will be debuting their monthly collab kit. This time is has a special meaning. Our store owner, Casey, lost everything during Hurricane Ike. Fortunately she was not there during the storm. But, she doesn't have much left at all. Please keep her in your prayers. If you are interested in helping donate anything to her or any of the hurricane victims, please send me an email at twinsmom1@sbcglobal.net.

Now for the blog train. I can't say much about that other than it is big!!! There will be lots of goodies. But, that is about all I can say about that now. Just be sure to check back here on October 1st to see what the big surprise is!!!

I will be selling at a new store. We are looking to open around October 10th. This is going to be a different type of venture for me. The store I will be selling at is a group of ladies who are really passionate about what they do. Some of you out there may have already seen their site and thought that it is a little on the edge. Just remember, you can look through that and see that we are really a great group of ladies and we will be offering a great assortment of scrappy items. Please join us there for our grand opening. Also, there will be lots of freebies. There are some wonderful designers there. Whether you like tagger kits, smaller kits, regular kits, commercial use items, etc., there will be a large variety for everyone!!!

I will be moving part of my blog!!!

Just so I can keep everything straight, I will be moving my designing aspect to another blog. I will continue to post here, but I will post more about my family and any pages that I do for my scrapping. Please bookmark the new blog: http://88designs.blogspot.com. In the next few days, I will be updating this blog and the new one. I just felt that I was getting too much mixed up and want to keep everything separately. I want to be able to post more pictures of my family and not take away from the other things I do and offer. Thank you for your patience and I will let everyone know when it is complete!!!

WOW!! It has been a while!!!!! How about a sale!!!

Well, Mel from MCA Designs has finally got her store up and going!!! She is having a grand opening on Monday, 22 September 2008. There will be a huge 50% off sale and some great $0.25 items there too!!!! She has some very cute things!! My store is open for business!!!

I have finally got everything uploaded to my store. It took me a little bit, but I made my way through. I learned that you must have the files uploaded to and FTP before you can put them in the store!! LOL!! I also learned that you have to type things in just right or you will never get the little green light. It has been a trying week for me. I have had to work several nights in a row, go in earlier than expected one of them, take care of two sick children, sleep sometime so I can work, clean the house, pick kids up, and other things. I finally got everything done. I was even trying to get the last little bit uploaded with kids sitting on my lap and playing with stuff on my desk!
I have only uploaded two items to my store and plan to add more before the weekend is up. I will be starting a set schedule at work so I will be posting most all of my new items on the weekend and first part of the week.

This is a CU use pack of 13 doodles hand drawn by me.

This kit is called "Fun With Retro" There are several items in this kit that I made myself. The branches and the flowers attached to them started out as black and white sharpie marker drawings!! I even drew the flowers that are on them!!

I found my doodles in cyberspace!!!

I was looking around at some different kits for some inspiration for my new store. I was looking at Ikea Goddess' blog and found a kit that had what looked like one of my flourish doodles in it. I downloaded and sure enough, it was my cute little flourish that I had drawn myself!!! I was so excited to see it was being used in a kit. And, what was really exciting was the fact that people really loved it. I emailed the wonderful lady that had made the kit and she thought it would be wonderful to let me post about it here.
